VARIANCE PROPAGATION, 4min., USA
Directed by Brian Alexander
“Variance Propagation” is an ongoing exploration in observation, meditation, and artistic research. Why do we stare and slowly decompress at the sight of light on water, a distant flock of birds or an empty bag hovering in an alley ? There is an apparent gray area of experience where cadence, familiarity and abstraction are in balance and serve to connect us in an elemental and unified manner. Ive sought to expand on these moments of “betweenness” and shift them towards the primary. The only physical subject is light and water.

WHO LOST A DREAM?, 17min,. Canada
Directed by Asaf Rahamim
This film revolves around a brave dream that embarked on a journey to find its dreamer – a child. However, things get a bit dicey when school teachers find themselves grappling with an unexpected scenario: a dream roaming the school’s hallways. Their efforts seem intent on turning the dream’s existence into a rather nightmarish affair

SPIRIT DIVE, 5min., USA
Directed by Hugo Wu
Spirit Dive depicts an artist’s exploration of self-identity and recollection of childhood’s wildness and imagination through fragments of dreams. It captures the elusive nature of the artist’s experiences, blurring the boundaries between the past and present, dreams and reality, and confusion and clarity. Utilizing 3D art, virtual production, and abstract avatar design, the film creates a visually captivating experience that brings these concepts to life.
