Nasheet Zaman’s interest in visual storytelling was first sparked by filming comedy sketches with her family and directing plays for the Bangladeshi-American community talent shows in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Her passion for art, storytelling, and innovation led her to study computer science and creative writing at Cornell University. She graduated with a Masters in Computer Graphics, then began her career as a CG Artist in Los Angeles and Toronto, contracted by Sony Imageworks, Rhythm and Hues, Arc Productions, and Disney Animation over the next 10 years. Her credits include Beowulf, G-Force, The Smurfs, Life of Pi, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Moana. In 2017, she returned to her hometown to take on a dual role as VFX Supervisor at the Ohio Film Group and Assistant Professor at Columbus College of Art and Design.
Jacquelyn “Jac” Piette is an adventurous filmmaker who has contracted all over the United States, as well as the United Kingdom and Canada. She worked for approximately 8 years in the technology and creative space as both a technical director and an artist in the realm of lighting, look development, pipeline innovation, and compositing in the industries of Feature Animation, Feature Live Action Visual Effects (VFX), Commercial Visual Effects (VFX), Themed Entertainment Animation, and Video Games. A list of companies she worked for includes, but is not limited to: Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Blue Sky Studios, Digital Domain, and Moving Picture Company. She completed her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Boston College Carroll School of Management in May of 2017.
