Majoring in Traditional Animation, Jack Tenbusch is a senior at Columbia College Chicago set to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in December 2021.
Having been raised on video games, movies, and TV series that always taught him to think imaginatively, Jack pursued animation as his calling in life and major field of study. After finishing his general liberal arts education at the College of Lake County, Jack transferred into Columbia College Chicago under a full scholarship to continue his training in animation – specifically in 2D.
After finishing his solo thesis project, SymBionic, Jack will be moving to Los Angeles for the Fall of 2021 to participate in Columbia College Chicago’s Semester in Los Angeles (SiLA) program. There, he will be experiencing the studio environment of the American animation industry, fostering connections and continuing to submit his work to festivals.
